At PECO, we strive to build a space where everyone feels a sense of belonging. We do not all start from the same place. We are committed to providing everyone with access to opportunities and resources to ensure that all individuals have an equal chance of success.
To accomplish this, our active BRG groups include PECO MORE (Multicultural Opportunities, Resources and Education) dedicated to furthering DEI within PECO, PECO NOW (Networking Opportunities for Women) to recruit, retain and develop women in leadership and PECO IMPACT created to ensure community involvement and connecting associates to causes important to them.
Building a Space for All is not just about being tolerant of differences, but rather actively working to accept and create a sense of community where everyone feels they belong. At PECO, we want to promote and support a sense of connection to the company and to each other.
We value and accept every individual’s uniqueness. Belonging is an accumulation of day-to-day experiences that enable people to feel safe and bring their authentic selves to every interaction. We do not all start from the same place. We are committed to providing everyone with access to opportunities and resources to ensure that all individuals have an equal chance of success.
We have differences and similarities, both visible and invisible. We value unique perspectives, experiences, expertise, and cultures, and we are committed to representing the diverse communities where we live and work.
We aim to continuously introduce new Neighbors (what we call our tenants) and create a sense of community where everyone feels they belong. Neighbors that will benefit from what we’ve built and will grow with us as we build the community.
"Phillips Edison & Company (PECO) has a multifaceted approach to DEI that aligns with its culture and has allowed it to make strides in fostering a more inclusive and engaging work environment. These efforts have been integrated into every level of the business, driving rapid adoption and delivering clear results which are evidenced, in part, by the company’s high associate engagement. "
