Vasili Lyhnakis joined Phillips Edison & Company in 2006 as a Junior Leasing Associate. Vasili has held a series of leadership roles at Phillips Edison, including Senior Leasing Associate, Director of Leasing, Regional Vice President of Leasing, Vice President of Leasing, West, and Senior Vice President of Leasing, West. In 2025, he was named Senior Vice President of Leasing and Portfolio Management, West.

Before joining Phillips Edison, Vasili worked in his family’s restaurant business, Astro Burgers.  Vasili helped expand his family’s restaurant business through strategic land acquisitions and retail site development, which sparked his interest in commercial real estate and provided early exposure to zoning, entitlements, and value creation through real estate investments. 

Vasili earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from Westminster University.
