Stephen Bien
Vice President of Transactions
Stephen Bien joined Phillips Edison & Company in 2007 as Director of Lease Accounting.  In 2010 he was promoted to Senior Director of Accounting where he was responsible for leading the Lease Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams. Mr. Bien took on the role of Asset Manager for Phillips Edison’s Strategic Investment Funds in 2012 and then served as the Director of Transactions for all of the Company’s funds from December of 2013 until November of 2016, when he was named Vice President of Transactions.  In his current role Mr. Bien oversees the Company’s underwriting and due diligence teams. Prior to joining Phillips Edison, Mr. Bien held various roles within the technology and service industries. Mr. Bien received his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University in 1997.
