April 11, 2012. ICSC has appointed Bob Myers state director for Ohio and West Virginia. The one-year term commences May 20, 2012. In this volunteer role, Mr. Myers will represent the interests of retail real estate owners, developers, investors, marketers and other retail specialists in Ohio and West Virginia.
“The International Council of Shopping Centers is delighted to welcome Bob into this important leadership role,” said Daniel Hurwitz, ICSC division vice president. “His enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the success of ICSC and the retail real estate industry will be of great benefit to our growing membership.”
President and COO of Phillips Edison & Company, Bob has been a member of ICSC since 1999. He enthusiastically accepted the new role as state director, saying, “I look forward to working with the other state officers and program committees to build an even stronger ICSC organization in our region. By expanding our existing programs and creating new activities, we can increase the levels of communication, education and professional growth that make ICSC such a vital part of the shopping center industry."
