About Us

Retreat, Relax, Rejuvenate at Blue Sky Ranch

Blue Sky Ranch is a 3000-acre ranch being developed by Phillips Edison & Company principals and affiliates as a multi-functional destination that will offer a unique menu of training programs, team-building activities and a variety of mountain recreational activities. The Ranch is already a frequent destination for Phillips Edison departmental retreats, corporate events and participants in activities offered by Blue Sky Adventures

Popular destinations for both corporate and personal adventures include Blue Sky's indoor and outdoor horse arenas, Antelope Yurt and Blue Sky Tavern. Our Cowboy for a Day program exemplifies the unique experiences available at this working ranch. Other activities currently include horseback riding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, rappelling, rock climbing, hiking and camping, as well as cooperative recreational activities such as alpine skiing at nearby locations in Park City, The Canyons and Deer Valley, as well as fly-fishing excursions to the Provo and Weber Rivers.

In October 2012, a groundbreaking ceremony kicked off the development of a unique destination scheduled for completion by the end of 2013. The development is a joint project of Blue Sky Ranch and High West Distillery, Utah's first legal distillery since 1870. The result will be the world's only luxury guest ranch and whiskey distillery offering visitors a unique range of experiences and activities celebrating the area's natural beauty and its cowboy culture. Our goal is to develop an environmentally sustainable project that will be a workshop for "green" building practices. As development continues, we are commited to providing energy through windmills, micro hydro plant, solar, photovoltaic and hydrogen fuel cells. Storm water and sanitary sewage treatment will be completely self-contained and recycled. The half-mile of stream running through the property will be restored, and the natural wetland vegetation will be revived. Building materials will be primarily recycled, and indigenous materials will be used. The facility will have particular value for the real estate industry as a "working model" for green building practices; constantly creating and evolving as our world changes.

Blue Sky Ranch is located 40 minutes east of the Salt Lake City International Airport via I-80 and 15 minutes from Park City. For more information, visit www.bluesky-adventures.com or contact Matt Galvin, Ranch Foreman, at (435) 336-2646 or mgalvin@phillipsedison.com.
